Later that evening, Nora and Eli read the final guide for both places. Valeria has an ancient center, a modern train station, and an impressive museum. However, the guide warns that the main square is crowded from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Lake Miran is less touristy and more remote. Its traditional streets are quiet, and visitors can walk beside the scenic lake. The hotel is small, but its rooms are spacious and face the mountains. The guide says early mornings are best for photos because the town is quiet and the water is calm.
Nora chooses Lake Miran because she wants a peaceful weekend. Eli agrees, even though the bus takes longer. They book the first bus on Saturday, visit the lake before breakfast, and return early on Sunday. They save Valeria for another trip.
