How to answer better
Give the activity, preference, and reason
Before recording, choose one useful structure. Then add a free-time activity, a frequency word, a TV-show type, an after-class routine, or a reason with because.
In my free time, I...Use a base verb after I: watch, listen, play, read.I like watching...Use verb + ing after like.I prefer staying in...Use prefer + verb + ing.because it is...Add one simple adjective: fun, relaxing, funny.In my free time, I usually listen to music and watch TV. I like watching comedy shows because they are funny. I prefer staying in, but I sometimes go out with my friends on weekends.
Attempt target
For each normal question, answer with one complete sentence. For the final free-time question, use three short sentences.
- First attempt: use the sentence frames.
- Second attempt: hide the help after question one.
- Challenge: include an activity, a preference, and a reason.
