Task Cycle

Activity Rounds

Follow the rounds in order. The teacher can stop after any round for quick pronunciation or grammar feedback.

  1. Class surveyStudents ask five classmates about favorite singer, actor, actress or sportsperson.
  2. Yes/no question roundStudents must ask follow-up questions: Is he famous? Is she Colombian? Are they soccer players?
  3. Mini webquestTeams choose one person and collect simple facts: job, country, adjectives and one reason they are famous.
  4. Studio rehearsalStudents prepare a TV host introduction and two audience questions.
  5. Live studioEach team presents while the class asks yes/no questions.
