Students choose a partner and perform a short conversation about sports routines, hobbies, and healthy life activities.

Teacher Model

First, watch the example

The teacher chooses one student and models the conversation for the class. Students listen for the structure, the activity verb, and the frequency phrase.

Model Conversation

Teacher: What do you do to stay healthy?

Student: I go running twice a week.

Teacher: Nice. Do you play any sports?

Student: Yes, I play soccer on Saturdays.

Teacher: Do you do any exercise at home?

Student: Yes, I do yoga in the evening.

Teacher: How often do you work out?

Student: I work out three times a week.

Structure Focus

Use the right structure for the activity

This is the main rule for the conversation: students must choose the correct structure depending on the activity. The goal is not only to speak; the goal is to speak accurately.

play + sport/gameUse it for soccer, basketball, volleyball, tennis, chess.I play soccer on Saturdays.Not: I practice soccer.

Choose your partner and prepare

  1. Choose a partnerEach student chooses one classmate to work with.
  2. Ask about activitiesUse questions about sports, movement activities, exercise, and workouts.
  3. Answer with detailsInclude frequency and time when possible: once a week, twice a week, on Sundays, after class, in the evening.
  4. Check the structureBefore presenting, verify if each activity needs play, go, do, or work out.
  5. Present to the classThe teacher calls pairs. Each pair performs a short conversation without reading every word.
