Task Cycle

Activity Rounds

Follow the rounds in order. The teacher can stop after any round for quick pronunciation or grammar feedback.

  1. Map designTeams draw or arrange six places: cafe, park, library, gym, restaurant and school.
  2. Time planningTeams decide what time people go to each place and what they do there.
  3. There is / there are checkTeams write five sentences using there is and there are.
  4. Blog entryStudents write a short paragraph inviting people to visit the neighborhood.
  5. Visitor questionsOther teams ask about time, places and favorite spots.
