Activity Objective

Students will produce a natural sentence about an activity happening now, based on a weather condition selected by the teacher. The goal is oral fluency, not a written task.

01

Teacher Flow

How the activity works

The card stays face down until the teacher reveals it. After the weather is visible, spin the student roulette. The selected student says at least one sentence with present continuous. The teacher gives oral feedback only.

Language Reminder

Useful model answer

Students can use the model first, then change the clothing, activity, or place according to the weather card.

Model answer

It's sunny, so I'm wearing sunglasses and I'm going for a walk.

It's cloudy, so I'm wearing a jacket and I'm walking to a cafe.

It's raining, so I'm carrying an umbrella and I'm staying inside.
